Overview
We are seeking a Senior Lead to join our Corporate Development team. In this role, you will lead complex transactions end‑to‑end and steward post‑close value creation through clear KPI frameworks, recurring valuations, and governance support. You will partner closely with Finance, Legal, business leaders, and external advisors to drive successful outcomes. You will have direct exposure to executive leadership and Board-level decision making, with accountability for high-impact transactions and strategic investment outcomes.
Responsibilities
Deal Leadership (M&A & Strategic Investments)
- Lead cross‑functional teams from thesis and sourcing through diligence, structure, negotiation, and close.
- Manage external advisors and counterparties; ensure workstream discipline and on‑time critical path.
- Produce executive and Board‑quality materials that clearly articulate strategic rationale, risks, value, and recommendations.
Strategic Investment Stewardship
- Set measurable value‑creation KPIs for assigned investments and establish a consistent review cadence versus original theses.
- Lead recurring valuation cycles; translate insights into forecasts and strategy implications.
- Maintain standardized processes and governance materials that support effective oversight.
Internal Business Development
- Partner with enterprise functions on long‑term strategic and value‑creation initiatives.
- Structure options, frame capital requirements, and provide decision‑ready analysis for senior leadership.
Operational Excellence & Talent Development
- Act as a central source for valuation guidance and best practices.
- Establish and implement standardized processes and best practices throughout the transaction lifecycle and portfolio management.
- Mentor team members within a shared analyst pool model; continually elevate team capabilities.
Requirements
- 12-15+ years in Corporate Development/Private Equity/Investment Banking/Strategy/Corporate Finance with 5+ years in financial services, asset/wealth management, or fintech.
- Depth in valuation and modeling, and a track record of converting analysis into clear, concise C‑suite/Board materials and decisions.
- Proven governance acumen and experience building standardized, repeatable processes.
- Recognized business partner with strong executive presence; able to influence across functions and mentor senior contributors.
