What You'll Do:Supervise performance of, provide mentoring to, and administration of the mine maintenance shift crew.Supervise mine maintenance shift crew of 6 mechanics, welder and 4 electricians.Provide safety guidance, ensure compliance with all safety and workplace rules and procedures.Work closely with Maintenance Planning, Capital Programs and Operations Departments to utilize available equipment and material, safely and efficiently, in order to meet daily production goal. What You'll Bring:Ability to work 5-5-4 Days and Nights Rotation shift is required.Grade 12 or equivalent.Minimum 3 years' mining experience and underground supervisor certification.Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.Computer proficiency.Excellent guidance skills - ability to engage and inspire; educate and mentor.Inter-Provincial Journeyperson Certification or Engineering/Technologist designation (preferred).Experience as a supervisor in a unionized environment and exposure-based safety programs (preferred).Ready to make an impact with us?
