What We're Looking For:

  • Some relevant experience
  • Ability to learn quickly and closely follow instructions
  • Interest in pursuing a formal heating and air conditioning apprenticeship
  • Valid driver's license
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada
  • 2 years of experience - preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills - preferred
  • Ability to work independently and with a team - preferred
  • Have completed a Foundation program or Introductory technical training for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic apprenticeship at a College or University - preferred

What You'll Do In This Apprenticeship:

  • Going on service calls with experienced team members and developing your trade skills
  • Following directions to help with routine maintenance, system repairs, equipment diagnostics, and new installations
  • Inspecting and identifying faulty filters, belts, and coils
  • Setting up ductwork and wiring for installations
  • Connecting new heating and air conditioning units
  • Assisting with diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
