Yard Coordinator & Delivery Driver

Job Responsibilities

This position reports to the Branch Manager and
is responsible for facility/yard maintenance and delivery of equipment as
needed.

Some examples of activities you will be
involved with include:

  • Ensure
    cleanliness and professional display of all new and used equipment, trade-ins
    and serviced equipment
  • Load
    and unload inbound and outbound equipment
  • Stock,
    tag and document new and used equipment into inventory
  • Execute
    general yard maintenance, including grass cutting, gravel area upkeep, snow
    removal and salting
  • Perform
    pre-trip inspections on equipment loads, ensuring safety and roadworthiness
    prior to delivery
  • Check
    all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
  • Comply
    with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods,
    drivers' hours of service, and occupational health and safety
  • Manually handling heavy loads and weight - handle up to 23kg (50lbs)

Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving abstract
  • Class A Restricted Driver's License would be an asset
  • Two to four years of experience operating and/or transporting equipment
  • An attentive, reliable and conscientious individual to handle high value equipment 
  • Ability to operate a forklift, training will be provided
  • Experience with agricultural machinery would be an asset
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, and flexible to work scheduled and extended hours as needed
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Proficiency with computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office software

The
posted pay range reflects the skills and qualifications listed above.
Candidates with higher or lower levels of experience, education or knowledge
may be considered at a point outside the range.

Wage Range

  • $23 - $27 per hour
  • Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience, and qualifications
  • Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary range
