Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to cover a medical leave for 2-4 months on full time basis ASAP, to join our dynamic dental practice.
Monday: 9am-7pm
Tuesday: 8am-5pm
Wednesday: 8am - 5pm
Thursday: 8am-3pm
Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm
No weekends
We are a long-standing non-corporate dental office with friendly and supportive staff and fantastic patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the clinic maintains a welcoming and efficient environment.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with other dental staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
- Familiarity with dental software Tracker for managing patient records is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
