Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Vocal Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching voice techniques across various age groups and skill levels, including children, adolescents, and adults. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students through comprehensive vocal instruction, integrating elements of theater, classroom management, and creative arts. The Vocal Teacher will contribute to curriculum development and foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth in musical expression and confidence.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging vocal curriculum tailored to students' ages and skill levels, incorporating lesson planning and innovative teaching methods.
  • Conduct individual voice lessons, focusing on technique, breath control, diction, and performance skills.
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for all students.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Prepare students for performances or recitals to showcase student achievements and build confidence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in teaching voice or related musical disciplines with a strong understanding of classroom management techniques.
  • Background in curriculum development tailored for diverse learners including children, preschoolers, or adults.
  • Experience working with students of various ages, including early childhood education, preschool experience, or special education settings.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with different learning needs and backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for nurturing talent through tutoring and classroom experience in both formal and informal settings.
