As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps/Cloud Lead to help migrate customer-facing digital applications from on-premises environments to AWS Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the migration of on-prem applications to AWS Cloud, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Architect, design, and implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and automation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to refactor applications for a serverless or containerized architecture using AWS Lambda and ECS Fargate.
  • Support debugging of Java and Angular applications in collaboration with software engineers.
  • Establish and maintain centralized log management and performance monitoring solutions.
  • Drive automation across the infrastructure lifecycle using Terraform and other IaC tools.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in application and cloud security, leveraging AWS Cognito, JWT tokens, and IAM policies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in software development and DevOps engineering.
  • Proven expertise in building, deploying, and maintaining applications across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Strong background as a former developer with hands-on experience in Java and Angular.
  • Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, ECS Fargate, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Demonstrated experience in lift-and-shift and re-platforming cloud migrations.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and security best practices.
  • Skilled with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an automation-first approach.
