Saburo Kitchen located in Hargrave Street Market Downtown, Winnipeg is now hiring Part-time Food Counter Attendant.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they come and offer your assistance with their orders
  • Ring up food orders and communicate those orders to the kitchen staff, making sure to note any special requests so all items are made correctly
  • Explain menu items to customers with enthusiasm and descriptive language, and be knowledgeable about our ingredients
  • Offer suggestions for order substitutions for customers with allergies or other dietary restrictions
  • Ability to handle cash and credit / debit card procedures
  • Ensure to serve or pack the right food for customers
  • Performs other duties as assigned eg, closing and opening duties

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work day lunch shifts
  • Very fast paced environment and applicants must have good communication skills and able to multi task Is very important
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • 2 year previous food service experience
  • Experience in handling cash and using credit card processing machines
  • Must have or willing to obtain Smart Choices responsible service certification

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
