F45 Coach (Contract Position)

F45 Training Southeast Barrie – 636 Yonge Street, Barrie, ON

$20–$30/hour
• 10–20 hours/week

F45 Southeast Barrie is expanding and we're hiring an energetic, reliable, and skilled F45 Coach to join our team. We're a fast-growing studio with a strong community, high coaching standards, and an extremely active HYROX-affiliated training group.

About the Role

You'll be coaching high-energy, technology-supported F45 workouts to 10–36 members, almost always with a teammate (only coaching solo when a class has 10 or fewer participants).

This role is 10–20 hours per week, depending on your availability and how it matches our class schedule.

Weekend availability is a bonus — weekend classes run 7am–10am, with your shift wrapping up by 11:30am.

What You'll Do

  • Coach F45 and HYROX group classes with confidence and energy
  • Demonstrate movements clearly and safely
  • Provide regressions, progressions, and hands-on form correction
  • Build positive rapport and help members feel confident and supported
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and motivating studio environment
  • Assist with class setup/teardown + light cleaning
  • Support member retention through positive member relationships
  • Complete required F45 Academy modules before leading classes independently

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year as a personal trainer or group fitness trainer
  • Strong group training experience (preferred)
  • HYROX experience is a bonus
  • Extra bonus if you've trained at or coached at an F45 studio
  • Confident coaching functional movement patterns
  • Strong communication skills; can command a room clearly and kindly
  • Positive, motivating, no-ego personality
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Comfortable working with adults of all ages and fitness levels
  • Looking to grow with a busy, rapidly expanding community

Required Certifications

  • Valid Personal Training Certification (ISSA, CanFitPro, etc.)
  • Emergency First Aid (not basic first aid)
  • CPR & AED Certification
  • Standard background check
  • Must carry your own General Liability insurance

Compensation & Perks

$20–$30 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, reliability, and availability.
