About the Role

The Marketing and Content Manager will lead ESI's content strategy across marketing, sales, and grant/accelerator activities. You'll manage our digital presence, craft compelling written content, and take ownership of external communications that strengthen our brand and business visibility.

This is an independent role ideal for a candidate who can plan, execute, and deliver with minimal supervision. You'll collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams but will have the autonomy to drive marketing initiatives, shape messaging, and ensure alignment with ESI's mission.

What You'll Do

· Lead Content Creation & Strategy: Plan, write, and edit high-quality content for social media, website updates, one-pagers, and use cases that communicate ESI's impact.

· Social Media & Brand Management: Own ESI's social media strategy — develop content calendars, create posts, analyze engagement, and ensure consistent brand identity.

· Grant & Accelerator Applications: Independently write and coordinate submissions for grants and accelerators, develop reusable templates for common questions, and manage reporting deliverables.

· Sales, lead generation & Proposal Support: search for prospects, write persuasive materials for RFPs, proposals, and client presentations that articulate ESI's unique value proposition.

· Market Research & Insights: Conduct and summarize research to inform pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and messaging.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the business development, analytics, and operations teams to align messaging across all outreach and client-facing materials.

· Vendor & Partner Coordination: Engage with external vendors or partners to execute marketing campaigns or content initiatives on schedule.
