We are seeking an Intermediate Server Analyst (Infrastructure) to support day-to-day operations within a large enterprise server environment. Reporting to the Team Lead, Server Operations, this role focuses on Windows virtual server support within a VMware-based virtualized infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Tasks

Proactively maintain, monitor, and improve core server infrastructure functionality

Provide daily operational support for Windows virtual servers

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve server-related issues in a timely manner

Perform hardware and operating system installations, upgrades, and migrations

Plan and support software and hardware upgrades or migrations

Maintain and support operating systems and related infrastructure software

Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation and system procedures

Follow established policies, standards, procedures, and best practices

Provide cross-training and knowledge transfer to other server team members

Requirements

Experience supporting Windows Server environments

Hands-on experience with VMware virtualized hosting infrastructure

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in both individual and team-based environments

Experience working in structured enterprise IT environments is an asset
