About the Role
As a Program Manager at Botpress, you'll be a key member of our Delivery team, serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their implementation journey. You'll lead scoping and discovery calls to understand client needs, translate business requirements into technical solutions alongside our Solutions Architects, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to standard. You'll develop deep enough platform expertise to run demos, create proof of concepts, and speak credibly about what's possible.
You'll coordinate across the Delivery team to keep engagements moving, serve as the first line of escalation when issues arise, and support the sales process when needed to instill customer confidence. Once implementations are live, you'll maintain relationships through regular strategy calls, ensuring customers continue getting value from the platform.
This role spans both enterprise engagements and our Managed Services offering. You'll need to be equally comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments and maintaining a portfolio of ongoing client relationships.
This isn't just any delivery role. It's AI. You'll be working on smart, cutting-edge projects where every implementation is a bit different, and you'll play a central role in helping customers get real value from the platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead scoping and discovery calls with clients to understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing communication, expectations, and status updates throughout onboarding and ongoing engagement
- Coordinate with Solutions Architects, Integration Engineers, and other Delivery team members to ensure cohesive project execution
- Manage project scope, dependencies, and change requests; identify risks early and serve as the first line of escalation for issues that impact delivery
- Track project performance, maintain HubSpot pipeline accuracy, and prepare status updates for clients and internal stakeholders
- Develop platform expertise to confidently run demos, create proof of concepts, and advise on what's possible
- Conduct regular strategy calls with clients to review performance, recommend improvements, and identify expansion opportunities
- Support the sales process as needed, joining calls to provide delivery perspective and instill customer confidence
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and the broader Delivery team to ensure solutions are well defined and clients are set up for success
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in program or project management within a software or SaaS environment, ideally with enterprise clients
- Comfortable learning technical platforms deeply (you don't need to be a developer, but you can hold your own in technical conversations and translate business needs into technical requirements)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead client calls, manage stakeholders, and build trusted relationships
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects or client engagements simultaneously
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong attention to timelines, dependencies, and risk management
- Technical curiosity: you enjoy understanding how things work and can speak confidently about platform capabilities
- A proactive, client-first approach with a bias for action and follow-through
- Comfortable working through ambiguity as we continue to define and scale our delivery function
Nice to Have
- Experience with conversational AI, chatbots, or automation platforms
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and low-code tools
- Background in professional services, consulting, or managed services delivery
- HubSpot or CRM experience
- AI fluency: you've built or automated something meaningful (script, workflow, GPT)
