Commercial Quotation Specialist
to join their team and support our sales and project teams by preparing accurate, timely, and competitive quotations for plumbing projects.

Job Summary:

The Commercial Quotation Specialist is responsible for creating precise cost estimates and proposals for commercial plumbing projects. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and labor requirements, along with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure quotes are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed commercial quotations for plumbing projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
  • Review project specifications, blueprints, and scope documents to develop accurate proposals.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to clarify project requirements.
  • Source and request pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and accurate quotes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of plumbing materials, equipment, and industry pricing trends.
  • Ensure all quotations comply with company policies, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Assist with tender submissions and respond to client requests for additional information or revisions.
  • Maintain organized records of quotations, pricing data, and communications with clients and suppliers.
  • Support sales and project teams by providing technical and cost-related guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in plumbing, mechanical systems, or construction estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing materials, systems, and installation practices.
  • Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing quotes.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in commercial construction or plumbing contracting.
