Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
  • Experience with serving and cashiering is a plus.
