Job Description – Senior Engineering Leader (Design & Simulation of Manufacturing Lines)
Minimum 10 years of experience
Position Overview

Seeking a seasoned
Engineering Leader
with a proven track record in the
delivery of projects involving the design and simulation of manufacturing lines
. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering design, manufacturing optimization, and process simulation, along with strong leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering calculations for machine and tool designs, including strength, speed, horsepower, temperature, pressure, and force.
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine shape, dimensions, and material properties such as hardness.
  • Create working and detailed drawings, as well as bills of materials (BOM) using
    AutoCAD
    and
    SolidWorks
    .
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and regulations (e.g.,
    OSHA
    ,
    CE
    ).
  • Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, machining techniques, finishes, and hardness.
  • Design tooling and fixtures from sketches or verbal concepts.
  • Communicate design changes and project progress with the
    Manager, Mechanical Engineering
    and supervising designers.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of
    lean manufacturing systems
    that reduce waste, increase throughput, and shorten lead times.
  • Develop and implement
    job/workstation designs
    with a focus on ergonomics and operator satisfaction.
  • Apply
    tooling, automation, robotics, and material handling systems
    to improve safety, quality, and cost.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standard engineering data such as layouts, process flow diagrams, capacity charts, time studies, and productivity metrics.
  • Collaborate with
    Product Development
    and
    Design Engineering
    teams to identify opportunities for
    Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
    .
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    ISO procedures

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for engineering design analysis.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    (preferred) or a related field with relevant experience.
  • Minimum
    10 years of experience
    in mechanical design, manufacturing engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing engineering design and simulation projects.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, responsible, and quality-focused.
