Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fuel Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting fuel to various retail locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and vehicle maintenance, ensuring smooth operations across all assignments. The Driver will play a vital role in supporting our logistical needs and maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

  • Operate commercial vehicles including trucks to transport freight and materials efficiently.
  • Safely load and unload fuel as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
  • Assist with the repair or troubleshooting of automotive or heavy equipment issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers or supervisors to confirm schedules and delivery priorities.
  • Ensure secure loading and proper handling of freight to prevent damage during transit.

Skills

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving.
  • Knowledge of fuel handling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for maintaining vehicle performance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
