We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will support residential and commercial real estate transactions from start to finish and will be comfortable managing files with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing residential and commercial real estate files from opening to closing
  • Preparing and reviewing purchase, sale, mortgage, and refinancing documents
  • Conducting title searches and reviewing title abstracts
  • Preparing and registering documents through Teraview
  • Requesting and reviewing mortgage instructions and lender documentation
  • Preparing statements of adjustments and reporting letters
  • Coordinating closings with clients, lenders, and other law firms
  • Maintaining accurate file records and meeting key deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience as a real estate law clerk (Ontario)
  • Strong working knowledge of Teraview
  • Familiarity with residential and commercial conveyancing processes
  • Experience handling lender instructions and mortgage closings
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
