The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in concrete work, a passion for precision, and a proactive approach to construction challenges. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale residential developments while honing your skills in modern construction techniques and equipment.

Duties

  • Operate GPS-enabled equipment to accurately grade and align concrete surfaces in subdivision projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Mix, pour, and finish concrete using hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers to achieve smooth, durable surfaces.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise placement of concrete.
  • Conduct quality checks on surfaces and curbs.
  • Collaborate with team members on renovation or restoration projects.
  • Assist in blueprint reading sessions and schematics interpretation to ensure precise execution of subdivision work.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on concrete placement and finishing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with GPS technology used for grading and alignment in subdivision projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems related to concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy lifting, roofing, carpentry, welding, and general construction practices.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
