Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities and provide efficient client service.
- Check-in and follow up with admin staff in branches to ensure accounts payables are posted in a timely manner and coding is consistent amongst the group.
- Organize, process and reconcile payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, checks, refunds, requisitions, etc., in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding and matching of invoices/receipts.
- Communicate with internal and external clients.
- Regularly tabulate data and compile necessary reports.
- Other job-related duties, as required.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution
- A minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Payable or similar position
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong time-management skills, and ability to adhere to deadlines
- Excellent organizational and computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills
- Experience with CDK is considered an asset
