About the job
We are seeking a Delivery Driver who is professional, honest, reliable, motivated, accurate and committed to customer satisfaction. The position involves loading orders into trucks, driving company vehicles safely and efficiently and delivery by hand at clients' businesses.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday Start 7:00AM - 9:00AM to Finish (Rotational based on route)
Overtime is to be expected when training for the job
Must be flexible to work weekends if needed
Responsibilities And Duties
- Loading orders either by hand into cargo van or by skids into straight trucks
- Manually sorting and unloading products and hand-unload into the customer locations
- Perform product delivery verification at the customer location and take picture upload to courier APP.
- Develop professional long-lasting business relationships with clients
- Required at the end of every shift to bring the returned items or un-delivered items back to the warehouse to designated staging area, and complete the return item on APP.
- Must complete pre-inspection of vehicles and maintain daily driver logs
- Fill vehicles with appropriate fuel at the end of the day
- Required to keep vehicles clean and clutter free
- Local deliveries within the GTA
- Long distance deliveries to Kingston, Barrie, Kitchener, St Catherine's, Guelph, Hamilton, etc.
The Successful Candidate Shall Possess The Following
- Must have at least 1-year commercial vehicle experience
- Must have a valid 3years G Class driver's license and clean abstract
- Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
- A strong customer service attitude, and enjoy interacting with various clients
- Physically fit and be able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull, and carry heavy items (Up to 50lbs)
- Must be willing to use own data plan for traffic GPS
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Solid attendance, punctuality, and work history
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time, organization, and urgency

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

- driver: 5 years (required)
- delivery driver: 3 years (preferred)
