We are currently seeking an Experienced Refrigeration Journeyman Technician and Installer to join our team. VRV experience will be considered a strong asset. This position also requires participation in the on-call rotation to support our clients with reliable, round-the-clock service.

Position Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Refrigeration Journeyman Technician & Installer to join our growing team. This role involves service, installation, and maintenance of a wide variety of refrigeration and HVAC equipment. VRV system experience will be considered a strong asset. The successful candidate will also participate in the on-call rotation to provide reliable support to our clients when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems in commercial and industrial settings
  • Work with VRV/VRF systems (experience considered a strong asset)
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure systems are operating efficiently
  • Accurately complete work orders, service reports, and required documentation
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as required
  • Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship in alignment with COR certification requirements
  • Collaborate with team members, project managers, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic (Red Seal preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration and HVAC service and installation
  • Experience with VRV/VRF systems is an asset
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and technical skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
  • Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with COR standards
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
