Our Recreation Department is looking for a dedicated Bonnetts Energy Centre - Guest Services I to join the team.

Position Responsibilities
Hired on a casual basis for a flexible schedule, which includes evening and weekend work. Provides quality guest service (security/usher) in a special event environment (concerts, trade shows, etc.).

  • Representing Bonnetts Energy Centre to ensure a positive, safe, and fun experience for guests
  • Demonstrates positive attitude towards crowd management
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and written skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Repeated heavy physical demand including but not limited to long periods of standing and climbing stairs may be required

Requirements:

  • Criminal Record Check is required
  • ProServe certificate is required
  • First Aid certificate is preferred
  • Experience in a multi-purpose facility with an ice surface is preferred

Qualifications

  • You are an energetic person with lots of personality.
  • You are passionate about our community and ensure that each guest receive outstanding customer service.
  • You thrive in a busy high paced environment.
  • Interest in events, concerts and sports an asset.

Hours
Event dependent, on call basis.

Salary/Wage
$20.28 with a $1.75 shift differential, as per the CUPE agreement
