*Job Overview*
The Director of Care position is a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the nursing department and services within a senior care facility. The Director will lead a team to ensure the well-being and health of residents in assisted living or nursing home settings.
*Duties*- Develop and implement wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of senior residents- Supervise and coordinate staff to deliver high-quality patient care- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to support wellness initiatives- Provide acute care services and support hospice care programs as needed
*Requirements*- Experience in senior care, nursing, or related healthcare fields- Familiarity with supervising staff in assisted living or nursing home environments- Strong understanding of patient care protocols and procedures
