Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Duties

  • Develop comprehensive structural designs using advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D to create precise drawings and models.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate project schedules, ensuring timely completion of design phases and construction milestones.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications with clarity and precision for client review, permitting agencies, and construction teams.
  • Oversee system design processes for various structures, integrating civil engineering principles with geotechnical considerations and geospatial data using GIS tools.
  • Coordinate with geotechnical engineers to assess soil stability and foundation requirements for diverse projects.
  • Utilize construction knowledge to review plans for constructability issues, ensuring designs are feasible within site constraints.
  • Manage project engineering tasks by monitoring progress, resolving technical issues on-site or in the office, and maintaining detailed records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Use Bluebeam for efficient markup reviews, document management, and collaboration during design development and construction phases.
  • Engage in technical writing to produce clear specifications, design reports, and project documentation that meet industry standards.

Skills

  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools to effectively plan and track project milestones.
  • Strong experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D for drafting and system design.
  • Solid understanding of civil engineering principles with an emphasis on construction practices and geotechnical engineering fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies to coordinate multidisciplinary teams efficiently.
  • Ability to interpret geotechnical data for foundation design considerations.
  • Excellent technical writing skills for preparing detailed reports, specifications, and documentation.
  • Experience in drafting detailed construction documents that adhere to safety codes and industry standards.
  • Skills in system design related to structural frameworks across various building types and infrastructure projects. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,149.35-$126,896.97 per year
