Senior .NET Backend Engineer (Cloud-First)

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer focused on backend development, cloud readiness, and AWS migration to work on Qualicom client site in Toronto Downtown.

Your expertise is backend-first, ensuring robust APIs, system integrations, and cloud-native services.

Key Skills (Must-Have)

  • .NET Framework (4.x+), .NET Core (3.x+), .NET 6+
  • WCF, REST API, WebAPI, WebServices
  • Docker & containerization experience
  • Entity Framework & SQL Server
  • Azure DevOps / GitHub CI/CD
  • Troubleshooting vulnerabilities & memory leaks

Strong Advantage (Cloud-First)

  • Proven AWS Cloud experience: EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS
  • Hands-on cloud migration from on-premises to AWS (rehost, replatform, refactor)
  • Familiarity with Terraform / CloudFormation
  • Performance tuning for high availability & resilience

  • 5+ years backend development experience
