About the Role
The Product Manager, Technical owns the ongoing health and management of a portfolio of SaaS data connectors in partnership with Fivetran's product and engineering teams. You will partner with customers & other product managers to understand customer requirements, set priorities, ensure that requirements are translated into workable epics and stories. You are also the go-to person for engineering and other stakeholders when they have questions on requirements, deliverables, and incidents.
This is a full-time position based out of our Toronto, Canada office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team. The successful candidate must be able to work with overlap with US EST and PST time zones.
What You'll Do
Monitor the health and performance of the connector portfolioWork closely with the larger product team to plan and prioritize feature developmentManage product backlog, develop feature requirements and set acceptance criteriaPartner with different stakeholders on internal management communications and business reviewsWork closely with engineering to execute feature improvementsParticipate in scrum ceremoniesPartner with engineering to solve incidentsWork with customers for research, connector onboarding and triaging of incidentsDrives for clarity and solutions when faced with ambiguity or challengesUnderstand both the technical details and desired business outcomes to drive for resultsYou will play a key role in the growing and adoption of Fivetran's SaaS Connector Portfolio
Skills We're Looking For
Strong SQL skillsPrevious experience working as a product manager, product owner, technical program manager, or data analyst roleExperience working with engineering or technical delivery teamsExperience working in an Agile environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsOrganized and great attention to detailAdaptable, multitasker and problem solverGreat interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate and build relationshipsEmbody team values of Curiosity, Ownership, Collaboration, Kindness, and IntegrityA deep sense of empathy for the customer, ensuring that all solutions are customer-focused and deliver significant value.This role is a backfill for an existing position and offers an opportunity to step into a well-established team and make an immediate impact
