As a forward-thinking organization, we are focused on building a workforce that reflects the community we serve. We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate People and Culture Advisor to join the our team and help us cultivate a thriving workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Management: Lead full-cycle recruitment, develop creative sourcing strategies, and strengthen brand.
Labour Relations: Act as liaison with Unions by supporting bargaining, grievances, and respectful relationships.
Onboarding: Design programs that integrate new employees into our culture and values.
Benefits & Payroll: Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate benefits administration and compliance.
Employee Engagement & Culture: Drive initiatives that enhance workplace culture, recognition, and well-being.
Administration & Analytics: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports and documentation, and provide data-driven insights on turnover, engagement, and workforce trends to inform organizational strategies.
Change Management: Support employees and leaders through organizational change and team resilience.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees and management on policies, procedures, and best practices to foster a positive workplace environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in municipal or public sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Saskatchewan Employment Act, Human Rights Code, and LA FOIP.
- Experience in recruitment, labour relations, onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in HRIS (e.g., Dayforce), Data Analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing employee concerns.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to influence and coach leaders.
- Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment.
