Water Transfer Technicians

Whitewater Management is currently seeking experienced Water Transfer Leads and Supervisors for immediate hire for work projects based in AB and BC.

Responsibility & Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Monitor conditions of all equipment within the designated work area with a focus on safety, environment, and efficiency
- Immediate reporting of any incidents or hazards
- Use of equipment such as a skid steer, a loader, and off-road vehicles
- Pressure testing and pigging lines
- Continual monitoring of pump pressures, gauges, and RPMS
- Flowmeter data collection and tracking
- Following danger identification and tracking procedures
- Perform minor shift maintenance and enter work notifications as needed.
- Reporting of any hazards or incidents immediately / hazard tracking & Identifications
What Do You Need To Get Started?
- Previous Tech 2/Lead/Supervisor experience in the Water Industry (MUST HAVE)
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid
- Out of Jurisdiction/BC First Aid
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing
- Lift and carry 50 lbs. repeatedly, stand for periods of time, and walk distances without issue
- Must have own, reliable transportation to commute to either Grande Prairie, AB or Innisfail, AB at start of each hitch
- Be safety-oriented
- Ability to work day/nights
- Ability to work away from home for long periods of time
- Lease road driving experience
- Basic math skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Leadership skills – including strategic thinking, planning, time management, flexibility, coaching, etc.
