Water Transfer Technicians

Whitewater Management is currently seeking experienced Water Transfer Leads and Supervisors for immediate hire for work projects based in AB and BC.

Responsibility & Duties (include but are not limited to):

• Monitor conditions of all equipment within the designated work area with a focus on safety, environment, and efficiency
• Immediate reporting of any incidents or hazards
• Use of equipment such as a skid steer, a loader, and off-road vehicles
• Pressure testing and pigging lines
• Continual monitoring of pump pressures, gauges, and RPMS
• Flowmeter data collection and tracking
• Following danger identification and tracking procedures
• Perform minor shift maintenance and enter work notifications as needed.
• Reporting of any hazards or incidents immediately / hazard tracking & Identifications

What Do You Need To Get Started?

• Previous Tech 2/Lead/Supervisor experience in the Water Industry (MUST HAVE)
• H2S Alive
• Standard First Aid
• Out of Jurisdiction/BC First Aid
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing
• Lift and carry 50 lbs. repeatedly, stand for periods of time, and walk distances without issue
• Must have own, reliable transportation to commute to either Grande Prairie, AB or Innisfail, AB at start of each hitch
• Be safety-oriented
• Ability to work day/nights
• Ability to work away from home for long periods of time
• Lease road driving experience
• Basic math skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Leadership skills – including strategic thinking, planning, time management, flexibility, coaching, etc.
