Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support IT project teams within a large public-sector environment. The successful candidate will analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective technology and process solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and document detailed business needs.
- Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop business cases, use cases, and user stories.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to align solutions with objectives.
- Support testing, training, and implementation activities.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Commerce, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 5+ years in process analysis/re-engineering and writing requirements.
- 5+ years working in Agile environments.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven political acumen and critical thinking ability.
Preferred
- IIBA certification (CBAP, CCBA) or knowledge of BABOK.
