The Merchandise Supervisor is responsible for making sure all employees are providing exceptional shopping experience for our guests who visit the Ice Castles. The Supervisor will lead the gift shop with support and direction from the Event Manager. They will help with the daily operations of the store, interacting with customers to help problem solve issues, assisting in the sale process, and ensuring to always provide outstanding guest experience. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supports the Event Manager with hiring, training and management of gift shop crew.
  • Scheduling and managing employees including rotations and breaks.
  • Facilitates inventory management including counting and reporting inventory on a regular basis.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store, replenish merchandise as it is sold and perform weekly inventory checks.
  • Oversee employees to ensure they are staying on task and following Ice Castles rules and regulations.
  • Conduct nightly closing duties, secure the gift shop at the end night.
  • Work well with others, be a team player and set an example to all employees.

HOURS: Full time hours from the end of December through end of the season. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Required to work outside with various weather conditions. Ability to stand for extended periods. Must be able to respond to emergency situations. Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

PAY: Starting at $28 per hour
