Job Overview

Do It Right Plumbing & Heating is looking for a skilled and reliable General Labourer/Handyman to join our team. We're seeking someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and can perform a wide variety of residential and light commercial tasks. This position may be on a contract or project basis.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Drywall installation and repairs
  • Mudding, taping, and sanding
  • Interior painting and touch-ups
  • Trim and finishing work
  • Minor carpentry tasks
  • Basic home repairs and maintenance
  • Ensuring clean, safe, professional work spaces
  • Providing excellent customer service on every job

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a handyman, finisher, or similar role
  • Strong skills in drywalling, mudding, painting, and general repairs
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, trustworthy, and detail-oriented

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in manual labor, construction, or related fields is a highly recommended
  • Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures in construction settings
