Job Description:

We are looking for a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario to review mechanical drawings and details prepared by our design team, ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code and professional engineering standards, and stamp drawings after review.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical design for residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and calculations for code compliance.
  • Provide professional feedback or markups when revisions are needed.
  • Approve and stamp drawings after final review.
  • Communicate with our design team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain professional engineering documentation and compliance with PEO standards.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical design or building systems experience.
  • Strong understanding of OBC Part 6 and ASHRAE standards.
  • Experience with permit drawings for residential and commercial projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Compensation:

$65 – $90 per hour, depending on experience and project scope.

Flexible schedule and remote work options available.
