Your Main Responsibilities
Protostatix
, a Division of Enlobe is looking for their next
Structural
Engineering Technologist
to join our office in
Edmonton, Calgary or Etobicoke
.

  • Prepare engineering drawings
  • Design drafting using AutoCAD, REVIT, and MS office with excellent general computer skills
  • Must have good knowledge and experience with wood construction.
  • Preparing and modifying drawings during design and construction. Ensuring structural drawings and specifications meet established Project criteria and applicable standards.
  • Have a good understanding of design / drafting for Muti-family dwellings, light commercial and commercial buildings.
  • Assisting in the preparation of functional, preliminary and detailed design drawings.
  • Participate in the production of construction document for structural projects.
  • Communication and coordination with other sub consultants and members of the Project team.
  • Read and interpret blueprints/drawings
  • And other miscellaneous duties, as required

What Makes You Unique

  • Completion of civil engineering technology diploma from an accredited school is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience ideally in the consulting industry.
  • Working experience and knowledge in recent and current versions of AutoCAD, REVIT, MS Office with excellent general computer skills is required.
  • Experience with wood construction design and drafting.
  • Equivalent experience or education may be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are required.
