The Hotel Maintenance Worker assists with the daily maintenance and repair of hotel facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities include performing basic repairs, completing preventative maintenance tasks, responding to work orders, and reporting larger issues to the Maintenance Manager. This role requires reliability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. required. Must be able to use hand and power tools, work in confined spaces, and work at varying heights.

Safety Expectations:

Must follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work safely with tools, chemicals, and equipment in accordance with WHMIS guidelines. Required to report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions promptly and participate in safety training as required.

Language Requirement:

Must be able to speak, read, and understand English to follow safety instructions, complete work orders, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
