Kamloops Ram service advisors are the first point of contact when a customer brings their vehicle in for servicing. They are responsible for greeting customers and must have a keen understanding of vehicles and the issues they may have. An ability to communicate with the technician and communicate the detail to the customer is essential. A service advisor must be comfortable explaining necessary repairs and costs clearly as well as understanding the timeframe required for said repairs for scheduling purposes. Ensuring our customer have a clear understanding of technical details and the necessity of the products/maintenance plans we recommend requires strong automotive knowledge, and problem-solving skills
Duties
· Meet and Greet customers upon arrival in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
· Schedule Appointments.
· Communicate repair progress status and post repair follow-up with customers.
· Resolve customer complaints.
· Test drive with customers when required.
· Perform walk around inspection process.
· Answer incoming calls.
· Park and retrieve customer's vehicle upon drop off and pick-up.
· Must maintain professional appearance.
· Must have valid driver license.
· Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
· Must meet company's requirements for employment.
Exposure to inclement weather and prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending are a condition of this position.
