About the Role

We're looking for a licensed electrician subcontractor, based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, to support upcoming industrial/commercial projects focused on smart energy monitoring, and digital control systems who are willing to travel andwork flexible hours (early morning or late evening) on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of energy monitoring in industrial/commercial settings and 3phase submetering equipment
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
  • Ensure code compliance, safety, and high workmanship standards
  • perform electrical site surveys, and prepare SoWs

Requirements

  • Licensed / Certified Electrician
  • Active insurance coverage
  • Demonstrated experience with 3-phase commercial installations
  • Familiarity with digital networking concepts to integrate IoT devices (smart meters, sensors, switches) and metering software and troubleshoot network problems.
  • Reliable, and adaptable to flexible hours
  • Excellent command of English and clear professional communication with clients, project coordinators, and tech teams
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience with HVAC, energy audit, or building management systems (BMS) is an asset (not essential)
