Site Forman

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forman to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Forman will oversee daily operations on the job site, manage team members, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and controlling expenses to meet financial targets.
• Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6.
• Proficient in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, quality control processes, budgeting, and construction estimating.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team collaboration and motivation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
