Trochu Motors is a customer-focused farm equipment dealership in Central Alberta. We've been serving our community for 75 years. We have a great team and we're looking to add to it. We are seeking a customer-oriented, responsible individual to join our service team full-time in a Precision Ag & Product Optimization role.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and repair of precision ag and technology products both on-site and over the phone. May include mechanical work when necessary
  • Training of parts, sales, and service teams on precision ag technology, as well as customer training and clinics
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the latest technologies and industry trends
  • The sale and installation of precision ag products and technology
  • Assisting the sales team with equipment demos and customer start-ups
  • Accurately documenting tasks that are billable through the service department
  • Attend relevant meetings with all internal departments and OEM companies
  • Work with management to ensure proper stocking of key parts and components
  • Using operational knowledge of all equipment to ensure full optimization of customer machines
  • Further activities, duties, and responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

  • Mechanically and technically inclined
  • Prior experience in a technology support role
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Agriculture equipment knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
