Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized workflow during busy service periods.
  • Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the kitchen manager promptly.

Experience

  • Familiarity with kitchen operations and food service practices is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards is beneficial.
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.
