Job Description

We are Phoenix Dance & Music School, located in Burnaby,West Vancouver and Richmond, seeking a passionate and professional Ballet Dance Instructor to join our teaching team.

The ideal candidate will have solid ballet training, a love for teaching children and youth, and the ability to create an inspiring and supportive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach ballet classes to children and youth at various levels (beginner to advanced).
  • Prepare students for RAD examinations, performances, and competitions.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Communicate with parents and the school administration regarding student progress.
  • Assist in school performances, events, and promotional activities.

Requirements

  • Professional background in ballet (RAD certification or equivalent preferred).
  • Previous teaching experience with children or youth.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passionate, patient, and able to motivate students.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends (depending on class schedule).

Job Type

  • Flexible schedule(Classes are available on weekends)

Compensation

  • Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications

Pay: Up to $42.13 per hour
