Position Overview: Buyer/Planner – Aerospace Sector

A&T Human Resources is seeking a skilled Buyer/Planner
to support procurement and supply chain operations within a Tier 1 aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in material planning, supplier management, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase orders and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor and expedite critical items to support production schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve supply challenges and maintain workflow.
  • Apply advanced planning and forecasting techniques to optimize inventory levels.
  • Analyze material requirements and Kanban levels to maintain efficient material flow.
  • Maintain accurate MRP parameters including lead times, MOQs, and supplier data.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and production planning.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Buyer/Planner or related supply chain role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Syspro preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications is an asset.
  • Aerospace industry experience is a strong advantage.

Education:

  • Degree or diploma in business, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
