Overview

We are seeking two reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team. Our store delivers using the company vehicle, Monday to Friday from 12pm to 8pm. The two drivers will rotate schedules, with 3 days on / 3 days off (weekends and Statutory Holidays off). Successful candidates must be able to cover the other driver's time off due to vacations, etc. This position may be well-suited for semi-retired professionals or anyone seeking a flexible part-time schedule. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations across the city but may on occasion deliver items outside of city boundries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate and maintain the company van.

Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload medical supplies and prescription medication, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
  • Perform routine inspections of vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing deliveries.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading. Join our team as a Delivery Driver where your skills will contribute to our commitment to exceptional service
