Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a genuine, friendly welcome upon arrival
  • Manage reservations and walk-ins using platforms like Resy or OpenTable
  • Communicate accurate wait times and ensure guest comfort while waiting
  • Maintain a smooth and organized flow of guests in the dining room
  • Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and excellent etiquette
  • Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
  • Share menu details and specials when needed
  • Resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally to ensure a positive experience
  • Keep the host stand and front area clean and orderly at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of hosting experience in a restaurant or hotel setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Resy and OpenTable
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and stay organized under pressure
  • Excellent phone manners and a confident, service-oriented attitude
  • Friendly, approachable, and genuinely enthusiastic about guest service
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsabilités principales

  • Accueillir chaleureusement les clients dès leur arrivée
  • Gérer les réservations et les arrivées spontanées à l'aide de Resy ou OpenTable
  • Informer les clients des délais d'attente et s'assurer de leur confort pendant l'attente
  • Organiser le flux de clients dans la salle de manière fluide et efficace
  • Répondre au téléphone et traiter les demandes avec courtoisie et professionnalisme
  • Coordonner avec le personnel de salle et de cuisine pour optimiser le service
  • Présenter les menus et les suggestions du jour au besoin
  • Gérer les commentaires ou plaintes des clients de manière calme et professionnelle
  • Maintenir l'espace d'accueil propre et bien organisé en tout temps

Profil recherché

  • Minimum 2 ans d'expérience en tant qu'hôte/hôtesse dans un restaurant ou un hôtel
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en service à la clientèle
  • Maîtrise des systèmes de réservation Resy et OpenTable
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches à la fois tout en restant organisé(e)
  • Très bonnes compétences téléphoniques et attitude positive orientée client
  • Présentation soignée, sourire naturel, et enthousiasme pour l'accueil
  • Disponibilité flexible (soirées, fins de semaine, jours fériés)
