North America Glazing Corp is an IGU (Double & Triple Glazed Insulated Glass) manufacturer based in Guelph, Ontario.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Production Operator / Production Line Supervisor to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with CNC glass cutting machines, IGU production lines, and related equipment, and will play a key role in supervising the production line and transferring technical knowledge to other workers.

Responsibilities Operate and supervise IGU production lines (Double & Triple Glazing)

Work with CNC glass cutting machines and related equipment

Monitor production quality and workflow efficiency

Train and support other production workers

Ensure safety, quality, and production standards are met

Collaborate effectively with the production team

  • Install, replace, and repair insulation materials in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
  • Measure and cut insulation materials accurately to fit designated spaces.
  • Ensure all insulation work complies with safety standards and building codes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and project specifications.
  • Assist in inspecting existing insulation systems for damage or inefficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and requirements.
  • Utilize tools such as measuring devices, cutting equipment, and safety gear properly.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IGU or architectural glass manufacturing

Proven experience with CNC glass cutting machines and IG-line equipment

Strong teamwork and leadership skills

Ability to train and transfer knowledge to other workers

High sense of responsibility and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proven experience or training in insulation installation or related trades preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities (English/another language) are a plus.
  • Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to insulation projects.
  • Good customer service skills for interacting with clients or project stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites or industrial environments.
  • Flexibility to work on various projects with different requirements.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$46.41 per hour

Expected hours: 8.00 – 17.00 per week
