Position Overview:

As a Data Scientist at Transformations, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing predictive models, and generating actionable insights that support business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that enable data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can influence strategic decisions.
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to integrate data solutions into applications and systems.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies in data science and analytics.
  • Mentor junior data team members and contribute to best practices in data analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science or a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $94,182.35-$112,516.32 per year

Expected hours: 38 per week
