Job Description
St. Francis de Sales Catholic Elementary School is seeking a full time learning support teacher for the school year. Interested applicants must have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith, demonstrate competency with the BC curriculum including interactive technology, and be willing to work in a team atmosphere in collaboration with our dedicated classroom teachers, education assistants, and office staff. Completion of CISVA Cornerstone Workshops is an asset, as is previous experience working as part of a learning support department, with knowledge of education research and best practices.
At our school, we prioritize fostering a collaborative environment where educators work closely together to instill our core values as we develop and deliver engaging curriculum. The successful candidate would be responsible for supporting students in primary and intermediate grades, including helping to tailor lessons to accommodate the diverse learning of our students.
As well, all staff at our school are expected to take part in extracurricular programs and activities that would hopefully align with your interests.

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia.
