Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CLARINET and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating engaging learning experiences, fostering a positive classroom environment, and supporting the developmental needs of young learners. The Instructor will be responsible for educating children through structured activities and providing guidance to promote their growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
  • Educate children in a classroom setting, utilizing various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
  • Provide tutoring support to individual students as needed, ensuring they grasp key concepts and skills.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Engage children in interactive activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
  • Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness, including any necessary preparation for meals or snacks as needed (cooking experience is a plus).
  • Observe and assess student performance, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • Formal education in clarinet or a strong academic background in the instrument is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents alike.
  • Ability to create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity and exploration.
  • Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
  • Previous experience in tutoring or one-on-one instruction is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
