Mook has operated in Medicine Hat since the 1940's and we are not going anywhere In fact, we recently added a third warehouse This is the perfect opportunity to join our fast-growing LOCAL company Our warehouse is the heart of our operation, ensuring timely and efficient distribution of goods to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to Warehouse Processing, Shipping and Retail areas.
  • Pulling stock for orders.
  • Bagging, sealing fabric and making skids.
  • Consistent heavy lifting – minimum 50 lbs.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Move and organize inventory within the warehouse according to established procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
  • Assist in inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently. (Training provided)
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Other general warehouse labouring duties as directed.

Requirements:

  • The ability to work with heights and climbing/descending ladders.
  • Must have reasonable computer skills and able to read & interpret orders and invoices. Basic mathematical skills is a requirement.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions both verbal and written.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
