Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and customers. This role requires strong time management skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
  • Conduct commercial cleaning tasks in various settings, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Manage time effectively to complete cleaning assignments within designated time frames.
  • Communicate with team members and management regarding maintenance needs or any issues encountered during cleaning operations.
  • Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or repairs needed in the environment.

Experience

  • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness of the facility.
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting and operate basic hand and power tools safely.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
