Overview

Farmac Carriers Ltd. is a transportation company based in Sydney, NS. We are currently seeking an experienced Tractor Trailer Driver for a year-round, full-time, permanent position. This is an overnight run, Sunday to Thursday, departing at 6:30 p.m. with an approximate return time of 7:00 a.m.

Please note: A minimum of one year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience is required. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be contacted.

Applicants must also be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, overnight
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Compensation: $0.50 per mile (confirm please)
  • Benefits: Co-share benefits package available

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's licence
  • Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Clean driving record (no exceptions)
  • Clean criminal record
  • Reliable, professional, and strong work ethic
  • Team player with solid verbal communication and listening skills
